We are so excited to be at Ethic Fest 2018! We were so honored to hear such beautiful stories from our community about their connections to the foster care world. Many adults shared how they were once in foster care as a child and wish there was an organization like this around then. Others were excited to use our services and took handouts to pass out for us. One man shared of how during his time in the military, he was saved by a fellow soldier who took a bullet for him. That soldier was a foster child who had no family and the man was the only friend he had. The man was moved to tears as he shared how the foster care system is something he will forever be grateful for because in a sense is saved his life.
