This week you will meet Dontel Ball, the owner of a million dollar business, Ball and Son Excavation. Dontel was on the verge of not graduating high school, until he found a college program that would give him the additional high school credits he needed to graduate and earn a college degree at the same time.

He knew traditional school was not working for him and he wanted more for his life, so he enrolled. As he followed his passion for mechanics and trucks by working in the field for others and learning all he could, he was becoming frustrated with the racism, grunt work, and the underrepresentation of people who looked like him at the top.
